Spirit in Motion

Rina happily ‘got lost’ in the world of performing arts in the late 90s, where she took her first steps as a dancer. Between 2010 and 2016 she worked at various dance schools and theatre companies as a dance teacher and as a choreographer. She created choreographies for musicals ‘The Addams Family’, ‘Fame!’ And ‘3 Musketeers’. Rina performed as an actor in various theatre productions such as ‘Mirad, a boy from Bosnia’ and ‘Blood Brothers’ produced by Greg&Baud Productions. She still enjoys performing, even outside the theatre as a corporate actor.

Rina was initiator of ‘Blooming Talents’, a performance training program for teenagers. She teached the program for four years, working together with dance teachers and choreographers. The training program contained body movement, meditation and breathing techniques. Meditation quickly became a regular part of all her dance and movement classes, a habit she grew up with.

She expanded her own experience with mantra meditation by studying NLP, Laban Movement Analysis, Neurological Music Therapy and I AM training.

In 2016, Rina introduced her first spiritual workshops for children Tiny Wisdom Program at primary schools, a practical learning experience in which children learn about meditation and affirmations in a playful way. In 2017, she introduced her second program to hospitals, which is aimed at children and their parents. Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital (Utrecht) became the first hospital in the Netherlands to launch a spiritual training program for patients and family members.

As a ‘chill teacher’, Rina collaborates with various hospitals, schools and clinics. She is loved for her openness and ability to create comfort and confidence with a touch of humor.

“I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.”
